The five-time Swedish champions saw their 23-year stint in the Allsvenskan come to an end after they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Halmstads last Sunday.

The former Liverpool player underwent surgery in September, his third knee operation in three years time.

The 29-year-old played his most recent match on August 20th, an Europa League encounter with Bnei Yehuda. In total, Kromkamp appeared in four games this season.
