(GSM) PSV Eindhoven are set to start 2010 with a boost, as defender Jan Kromkamp returns from a long-term knee injury.
The former Liverpool player underwent surgery in September, his third knee operation in three years time.
The 29-year-old played his most recent match on August 20th, an Europa League encounter with Bnei Yehuda. In total, Kromkamp appeared in four games this season.
Kromkamp left Liverpool to join PSV in 2006 and after two successful seasons at the Dutch club, he made only 12 league appearances in the entire 2008-09 season.
