Square Enix’s latest expansion for Final Fantasy 14, Dawntrail, recently entered early access for pre-orders. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been without issues. Director/producer Naoki Yoshida outlined the same in a new blog post while offering “my sincere apologies.”
The issues in question include the Xbox Series X/S version becoming “unresponsive” when moving between field areas and cities. Yoshida revealed that it’s likely due to “a phenomenon known as memory fragmentation.” Though the team is working to rectify it, a patch will need to be deployed, which requires QA testing and could thus take a few days.

In a new tweet, Bethesda offered up some new details, like players having more than 50 new locations to explore on Va’ruun’kai, the homeworld of House Va’ruun.
You can also craft “gross” new grenades based on organic material and battle “formidable new enemies” like the Redeemed and Vortex Horrors.
